On September 4, 2026, a topping-out ceremony was held for Felicitysolar’s Solar PV and Energy Storage R&D and Manufacturing Base in Jianggao Town, Baiyun District, Guangzhou, marking the completion of the project’s main structural works and its progression toward equipment installation and commissioning. Representatives from project developers, construction teams, and key partners gathered on-site to witness this significant construction milestone.
A New Base Focused on Core Component R&D and Manufacturing
Covering an area of approximately 50,000 square meters with a total floor area of around 189,000 square meters, the Guangzhou R&D and manufacturing base comprises two production buildings and a supporting dormitory building. The project is centered on the research, development, and manufacturing of core solar and energy storage products and components, including battery packs, inverters, and controllers, with the aim of building a modern industrial base that integrates R&D, production, and demonstration functions.
Since breaking ground in late 2025, the project has progressed through pile foundation work and structural construction. Upon completion, the base will further support Felicitysolar’s technological capabilities and industrial presence in the solar energy storage sector.
Ceremony Marks a Construction Milestone
The ceremony included the final concrete pour and the presentation of commemorative banners, during which company representatives and construction partners exchanged views on construction progress and plans for future operations. The completion of the main structure marks the project’s transition from foundation and structural work to equipment installation and interior fit-out and equipment installation with completion and commencement of operations scheduled for mid-2027.
For all parties involved, the topping-out marks not only an important engineering milestone, but also highlights the sustained efforts and close collaboration throughout the construction process.
